Role synopsis Group Control Managers are expected to provide expertise on processes and related internal controls over financial reporting, while working towards efficient, effective, and consistent controls across the BP Group. The Group Control Manager role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about a wide variety of BP businesses together with the processes and work with a broad spectrum of people within the organization.
Key accountabilities The Group Control Manager will have the following key roles:
1. Evaluation Planning - develop work plans for reviews of design and operating effectiveness of key internal controls, including scope, effort and timing in relation to businesses and related processes.
2. Review Process - understand the business and process overview. Perform and oversee the performance of process walkthroughs and detailed control testing in order to conclude on the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting
