Harmonix is looking for a passionate, articulate Lead Artist to join our amazing team of senior game developers. The Lead Artist, External Projects will work closely with select external studios to provide art direction on Harmonix titles. All of our titles are meticulously crafted to reflect our vision and high standards. In addition to being an accomplished artist, this individual should have experience with managing projects in a game development environment, and have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. This individual should love music and have an open-minded approach to all music styles and genres.
This position also offers potential for future leadership on internal projects.
Responsibilities include:
* Embrace and adopt Harmonix’s art direction and game development philosophy and methodology
* Provide and oversee art direction for multiple external studios
* Develop and maintain good relationships with external teams
* Work closely with team leads to keep game milestone deliverables on time
* Provide inspiring art direction for projects on various game platforms
