Our client in the works in partnership with community health centers and other
community-responsive providers, and offers a provider network covering most of the state
of Massachusetts. Located in the Downtown Boston area, they are looking for experienced
claims staff who available to start immediately.
The selected candidate will assist with reprocessing requests. The job requires a certain
level of business knowledge (including but not limited to: benefits, contracts and
systems) based on training and reading letters from providers requesting to review
initial claims decision. Once that review is complete, the incumbent would be
responsible for reprocessing the claim if applicable or sending a letter to the provider
with the reasons why the claim wasn't reprocessed. There may also be phone contact with
the providers as needed.
