Role synopsis The Structuring Analyst position is responsible for demonstrating strong commercial acumen in order to provide objective valuation and identify potential deal structures for Origination and Trading to help grow NAGP's platform
Key accountabilities Derivative valuation
•Design and improve valuation models and techniques, maintain knowledge of industry standard models and methods, understand model's strengths and limitations
Structured Transaction Valuation
•Offer commercial insight into the valuation process, devising and advocating alternate deal structures to enhance value for the business
•Break down structured transactions into basic components and calibrate models & value deals
•Develop approaches to value/assess non-standard or non-market risks embedded in transactions on the go
•Communicate the results to traders and originators, have the ability to both defend the results and incorporate relevant feedback
