A new generation of converged handheld devices is appearing with cellular phone, digital camera, camcorder and TV functionality all combined. The Broadcom family of Mobile Multimedia Processors has been designed to address this convergence with their high-performance programmable multimedia capability at minimum power consumption. Support for 8 Megapixel camera modules enables a picture quality superior to most Digital Still Cameras, while MPEG-4 video capability at VGA resolution is state-of-the-art for tape-less camcorders. In addition, support for the new H.264 standard means that cellular phones incorporating DVB-H mobile TV capability are now a reality.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a team that is responsible for developing, maintaining and testing software of MultiMedia and graphics stack. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Manage/Lead a team of software developers and product through complete life cycle from requirement generation to release.
• Provide technical leadership to the team.
