GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for selling voice, Voice over IP, structured cabling and data communications solutions and products. Builds and manages long-term customer relationships/partnerships to ensure customer satisfaction. It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to find, define, propose, close and maintain business that is profitable for the company.

Skills/Experience Required:

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED SKILLS/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Education: Associates Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Technical; or the equivalent of 1 year telecommunications equipment outside sales experience. Specialized Skills/Training: Must possess excellent presentation skills. Must be able to effectively interpret customer needs and therefore must have good listening skills. Must have an excellent knowledge of products and services being marketed, and must participate in on-line training by manufacturers to remain current on product lines.
