The Grants Analyst is responsible for post-award management in supporting Principal Investigators with the administration of their research projects to assure that they operate with in financial limitations and comply with federal, state and private grant terms and conditions, in addition to Institute policies and regulations. The position analyzes and processes grant budgets, resolves grant problems with the Grants Manager and Principal Investigators, and ensures that Principal Investigators receive accurate and timely information. Additional duties include the preparation of various forms and reports for compliance with grant requirements, including Financial Status Reports, Federal Cash and Transactions Reports and Time and Effort Certifications.

Required Skills

This position requires a Bachelors Degree in business administration, or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years experience in accounting. Strong math and analytical skills are essential, as is proficiency in MS office suite.
