The Hospice of the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life provides specialized care to individuals who are approaching the end of life. Hospice emphasizes managing symptoms, such as pain, in order to provide comfort and foster the highest quality of life possible. At the Abramson Center for Jewish Life, hospice care includes spiritual and emotional support for residents and their families, as well as help in working through personal problems that may surface. Our hospice team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, certified nursing assistants, and dieticians, as well as trained volunteers.
This new and growing Hospice program currently has a need for Weekend On-Call Hospice RN Case Managers.
This is an exciting opportunity as the program grows and expands into the community. As a Hospice RN for the Hospice of the Abramson Center , you would be responsible for: Assessing the health status of assigned residents; implementing and evaluating individualized nursing interventions; and coordinating care delivery.
Please note that this position will require some travel within the community, so reliable transportation is required.
