Director - Business Unit Operations
This position is responsible for the development and implementation of organization wide approaches and strategies to address issues that impact achievement of goals and objectives, operational execution, and organizational cohesiveness. It can encompass any aspect of the organization’s mission, commitments, or external relationships. This position assists the Senior Vice President – Operational Excellence in planning, organizing, reviewing and control of operational issues.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
· Provides the primary interface and lead on key issues raised by customers and external entities to ensure appropriate analysis of facts and impacts, coordination of viewpoints and perceptions, and optimization of the path forward
· Assists the business unit product lines in harmonizing corporate requirements and meeting goals and objectives
· Develops and implements approaches to remove quality and performance impediments in order to assure continued operational excellence.
· Provides a support and framework to enhance the delivery of business and operational objectives and metrics
