Quality Engineer II · Wayne, NJ
Job Purpose:
Provides technical support and executes quality engineering tasks as part of process improvement and problem solving teams for the quality assurance function.
Position Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities, authorities, and inter-relationships)
§ Coordinates technical activities regarding validations through protocol development, scheduling of interdepartmental activities, procurement of samples to be tested, and analysis and reporting of results.
§ Review and provide recommendations regarding product/process qualification/validation and other change control related (CR’s) documentation prior to department management final approval.
§ Supports process improvement through active participation in Cost of Quality programs and initiatives [Value Improvement Program (VIP), Quality at the Source (QAS), Six Sigma, etc.]. Engages in improvement activities and participates in qualification and validation activities. Monitors progress using financial, operational, and product performance metrics.
