* Monitor credit quality and performance of products/portfolios to identify emerging economic and portfolio performance driven risks and opportunities.
* Provide global assessment of risks inherent in products/portfolios, including quality of talent and Risk Management infrastructure/tools.
* Consult and coordinate with Group Credit Directors, Senior Business Management, and internal auditors the identification and timely resolution of asset quality issues.
* Establish global risk management policies (GCCFRP).  Review and approve exceptions to same.
* Establish and ensure compliance to minimum standards for Risk Management MIS, RCSA, and credit/fraud policies and processes.
* Ensure adoption of best practices and consistency across regions and businesses as appropriate.
* Provide on the ground crisis management/SWAT teams, troubleshooting, and a comprehensive peer review program.
* Participate in the review and approval of Senior Credit Officers and credit authority delegations.
* Provide input into the development of a comprehensive Strategic Capital Framework and Risk/Reward Appetite approach to risk decisions across the Global consumer unsecured franchises.
