JOB DESCRIPTION

HP-UX System Administrator (SME)

Strong team player with senior technical skill level in HP UNIX system administration. The ideal candidate will be an experienced system administrator with strong experience in HPUX and associated peripherals. Candidate should be very familiar with, and have solid clustering technology on UNIX platforms, (MC ServiceGuard and VERITAS Cluster Server), external storage and SANs general knowledge and strong knowledge in problem and change control practices. Shell scripting is desired to maintain existing and assist in new automation. Candidate should have general knowledge of superdomes, databases, networking, and/or web development as related to a UNIX server environment. LDAP expertise is highly desired. This candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide technical input to customer strategies and account and delivery projects.
