Job Description
Information Assurance in performing system security evaluations for secure operation of IT Systems across the MCEN. Present their evaluation, based on technical expertise, as certification that security standards are met, to the government for approval. Support the government in composing and implementing an enterprise self-assessment and remediation capabilities for both the non-NMCI and NMCI MCEN environment. Self-assessment includes periodic, recurring vulnerability testing and remediation efforts for all organizations not provided services under the NMCI contract, as well as input into the NMCI remediation process. This includes support for deploying forces as an integrated element of pre-deployment work-ups and exercises.
Required Skills
Excellent written and verbal Communications skills. The ability to convey information in technical and non-technical manner. The ability to perform assigned tasks with little to no supervision. Technical knowledge of Microsoft and Unix operating systems. Network Routing and Engineering experience. Firewall configuration and maintenance (multiple platforms). Automated Patch Management tools (Hercules, WSUS, Harris, GFI, etc)....
