Job Description :
Summary:
The LEAN Manager will report to the VP/General Manager and is responsible for the implementation and coordination of LEAN activities within the manufacturing division. Responsibilities include implementing LEAN practices and metrics, monitoring metrics and assessing performance; planning, assigning, and directing LEAN work activities. Responsible for driving continuous improvement and waste reduction in accordance with LEAN and ISO/AS9100 methods; training employees and conducting system audits; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Description:
Develop and manage plant-wide LEAN implementation plan.
Implement and oversee audit of LEAN practices.
Responsible for ensuring LEAN standards are developed and maintained.
Works with business units regarding process, flow, and floor layout, including mapping and analysis.
Train employees on 5S, visual management, standard work, LEAN metrics, and kaizen.
Ensures trained production staff.
Supports AS9100 and Quality requirements.
Maintain safe and clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
