Summary of role
Perform all the essential functions within the distribution center and assist the DC manager in the supervision of day to day operations.
Essential Responsibilities
* Perform all duties of warehouse operator and distribution clerk as needed.
* Manage the daily work activities of one or more employees within the warehouse (i.e., processing, returning, and packing) to performance metrics in the areas of: throughput, cost, and customer service.
* Train DC personnel on how to meet and/or exceed productivity standards.
* Perform quality control checks within the warehouse.
* Monitor employee activity to minimize company loss due to theft and damage to company property.
