Job Description:
CPOE Analyst

Responsible for supporting the Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) systems and other clinical applications. This position encompasses regulatory knowledge, and heavy influence is placed upon error prevention as the ramifications thereof can be detrimental to the health system's ability to provide quality patient care.

Serves as expert resource and consultant to Pharmacy, IT and other health system staff. Areas where consultative support include, but are not limited to, medication inventory maintenance, pharmacy informatics operations support, policy and procedure development, software customization, upgrade planning, implementation and testing.
