Director, The Fund for Babson
Job Summary:
The Parent Giving Officer is responsible for special gift fund-raising from undergraduate parents through personal solicitation efforts, with a specific focus on Principal Donor gifts (current-use gifts of $ 10,000 a year or more) from current undergraduate parents in all class years.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Makes 100+ parent prospect visits per year aimed at identifying giving capacity and inclination and soliciting $ 10,000+ annual gifts.
• Works closely with Undergraduate Dean of Students’ Office in organizing summer welcoming activities and programs for incoming parents, and in producing effective communications and outreach vehicles for the parent population.
• Represents Development at events and functions which include significant Parent participation, such as Parent Weekend and Commencement, and serves as Development liaison to the President’s Office for such activities.
• Works with Research Department to ensure timely and accurate research on parent prospects.
