POSITION PURPOSE:
Manage the procurement lifecycle for a category of IT products and provides associated vendor management.  Works to identify, organize, negotiate and manage assigned commodities into defined sourcing strategies, vender alignments, vendor agreements and ongoing management of those vendors.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.  Collaborate with stakeholders to define sourcing strategies and defines the goals and benefits of the sourcing strategies.  Upon establishment, ensure effective communication of sourcing strategies to appropriate stakeholders.
2.  Collaborate with project leads and technical leads early in project lifecycles to proactively create a viable, cost effective, quality sourcing opportunities that align with the sourcing strategies.
3.  Create agreements that leverage the strength of the company, providing better benefits to all global IT groups than they could achieve on their own.
