Systems Administrator - Architecture & Development
This is a one-year contract position.

Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator will work as part of the Architecture & Development group to support the delivery of high-quality, high-availability IT solutions to the Babson Community. The Systems Administrator will support operating systems and applications on both physical and virtual Windows servers. This position will be responsible for monitoring and tuning the environment for performance and maintaining a secure application environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Monitor call-tracking system; investigate and resolve third-tier support tickets.
• Monitor and analyze server and shared resource utilization and performance; Assess and respond to capacity issues on shared resources; provide server and application administration services.
• Work closely and collaborate with the rest of the Enterprise Services team on research, implementation, and augmentation of existing and new systems initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complicated server and shared resource performance and availability problems.
