POSITION PURPOSE:
Under limited supervision contribute to the membership, customer service and financial goals of Blue Cross of Idaho by providing the public with health care protection through the sales and retention of individual policies generated by direct marketing campaigns, sales seminars and unsolicited leads.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Required Experience:
* Three 3 years sales experience in the Health Care industry
Required Certifications/Licenses:
* If not already holding a current State of Idaho disability and health insurance license, it must be obtained within 45 days of hire
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities KSAs :
Knowledge of:
* Sales techniques
Skills:
* Microsoft Word - Intermediate
* Microsoft Excel - Intermediate
* Microsoft Outlook - Intermediate
* Microsoft PowerPoint - Intermediate
* Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to:
* Close sales
* Travel when required
* Deliver presentations effectively
