Resolves member, provider, broker partner plans and employer inquiries via telephone, or correspondence within established production and quality standards. May make verification calls to applicants.
Responsibilities • Composes routine and non-routine correspondence to answer member inquiries that require a written response. • Coordinates with other departments to ensure timely and appropriate responses. • Expedites and resolves complex issues and makes claims adjustments. • Educates others on the Blue Shield product, providing accurate information and updates to policies and procedures, improving overall customer satisfaction in the process. • Works with minimal supervision
Education/Requirements: Requires High school diploma or GED and two years member/customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Claims...
