The Research Technician will assist with histological procedures utilizing paraffin and frozen embedded specimens, as well as conduct tissue grossing, processing and embedding experiments.  Additional duties include conducting experiments utilizing standard protocols for microtomy,histochemical staining and immunohistochemistry, as well as preparing buffers and solutions, as needed.

Required Skills

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, or equivalent, as well as previous laboratory research experience using animals, prior experience with histology is preferred.
