Job Purpose:
To assist the Microbiological testing lab with the following activities:

Ensure that all products manufactured and distributed by MAQUET Cardiovascular Wayne comply with all applicable requirements for bioburden content, pyrogen content and sterility assurance levels.
*
Implements programs to ensure appropriate environmental controls are in place for the manufacturing and distribution of products.
*
Ensures that all components, manufacturing materials and products are adequately assessed per all applicable biocompatibility requirements.
Position Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities, authorities, and inter-relationships)
Support the Microbiological testing lab in the following:
§ Execution of routine testing for environmental controls (air, water, surfaces, bioburden etc.)
§ Perform LAL testing
§ Maintain periodic sterilization validation requirements
§ Maintain and improve validated standards of performance for microbiological testing
§ Provide resource to manufacturing and product development teams to address biocompatibility of materials and ability to sterilize
