Tuesday, Thursday/Monday, Wed, Fridays 3-9pm and every other weekend Saturday 9amto 9pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm

Performs phlebotomy techniques to obtain blood specimens on patients of all ages.  Interprets and transcribes physician orders onto manual requisitions and into the computer Order Entry System.  Performs all medically necessary activities required.  Assists in lab functions as required for proper specimen accessioning.

High school graduate or GED required.  Certification or eligible with a recognized board of registry recommended.  Prior phlebotomy and customer service experience preferred.  Valid New York State driver's license required.

Works with syringes, needles, vacutainer tubes, capillary tubes, lancets, stop watch, and computer.  Requires excellent venipuncture skills and excellent oral communication...
