DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Serve as a quality systems technical resource to the Production and PPIC Departments; Day-to-day management of factory-level ingredient specifications and vendor quality compliance programs; Routine review and continuous improvement of WIP analytical results, trending of WIP analytical results, follow-up associated with out-of-specification results and quality system adherence auditing related to the manufacture of US FDA regulated high acid and confectionary food products; Continuous improvement of factory-level food safety and product conformance systems; Routine verification and periodic validation of HACCP critical control points and quality control points within the WIP manufacturing process; Coordination and execution of Quality Assurance Department lead root cause investigations pertaining to ingredient storage/handling, WIP manufacturing processes/practices, and/or specification compliance within the factory; Develop, coordinate, and facilitate food safety and product conformance training for (applicable) factory employees.
