Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology - MVMC · Mesa, AZ
- Facilitate Interventional procedures in varied imaging modalities
- Knowledge and observance of Radiation Safety
- Provides sedation as needed per policy
- Creates and maintains procedure documentation
- Assists as needed in vein puncture
- Responsible for administration of controlled medications
- Prepares and assists in preparing patients for Interventional procedures
- Assits with nursing QA
- Provides direct patient care in the Imaging Department/s
- Provides assessment, planning and documentation for individualized patient care
- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
- Participates in performance improvement activities
- Demonstrates knowledge of current patient safety goals and policies
- Applies knowledge of infection control policies and procedures supporting standards of care
Qualifications
- Licensed RN in the state of Arizona
- ACLS/BCLS required
- Demonstrated adaptability to change
- Knowledge and ability to provide documentation utilizing forms and electronic means
