Department Overview and Position Summary:

Land and Environmental Permitting (L&EP) provides environmental planning, natural resource, routing and regulatory approval support for major company projects, specifically electric and gas transmission projects. This position provides the following services to our clients:

* Perform feasibility studies and land cost estimates
* Route and site electric and gas transmission facilities
* Coordinate CPUC certification (G.O. 131 D) of electric transmission projects
* Acquire federal, state and local permits for construction of transmission projects
* Perform environmental, biological and cultural resource evaluation assessments to support regulatory approval of transmission projects
* Develop and implement environmental mitigation plans and monitoring.

Responsibilities:
