PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Counselors provide short-term, solution-focused, non-psychiatric individual, couples, and group clinical intervention for eligible clients. Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients as appropriate. Based on the assessment, work with the client to establish an individual treatment plan outlining the goals of treatment. Provide individual, couples and group counseling. Offer prevention and education programs and services as practicable based on client needs. Maintain all counseling case documentation in accordance with all applicable policies, laws and instructions. Clinical counselors are expected to work on Saturdays on a rotating basis. Counselors also may manage a small Family Advocacy (FAP) caseload.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
* Master’s Degree in Social Work from a graduate School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work education, or
* A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a graduate program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy, or
* Doctoral degree in Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological...
