We are currently seeking an Intern for our Environmental Engineering department in Plant Systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create workbooks for AQMD, CalARB and government agency reporting. Create document map outlining where data is retrieved, what calculations are performed and definition of the links between spreadsheets in workbook(s.
Create database or equivalent inventory summary for all environmental reports so that documents can be archived or scanned into electronic documentation management system.
Scan and upload reports into Documentum.
Gain working knowledge of Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS). Condense essential operations information from CEMS computer functional description into concise boiler operator user manual.
Revise additional CEMS operating procedures as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES: Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering degree program, sophomore to senior level, with Environmental and/or Process Engineering academic experience will be considered eligible.
Good organizational skills.
Basic process or environmental engineering math, chemistry and technical writing.
