Role synopsis The Senior Process Safety Engineering Technical Authority is part of the Engineering Authority Team, which provides technical guidance and assurance roles to all of BP Explorations North Slope operated assets and business units.
This position will be based in Anchorage with the expectation that the successful candidate be able to travel periodically.
The Senior Process Safety Engineering Technical Authority will work closely with the SPU Risk Management Team to provide assurance that existing operations and brown field projects are meeting IM / OMS requirements for process safety and risk mitigation.
In addition to the teams above, this position requires significant interaction with Operations and Maintenance personnel for the producing assets and the Major Projects organizations.
