Role synopsis The Global Product Stewardship (GPS) team is part of the Global Fuels & Lubricants Technology group. GPS has Group functional accountability for the strategic direction of BP's product stewardship activities and provides services to support the businesses in meeting their product stewardship obligations.

GPS provides regulatory and technical HSSE support throughout the product life cycle. It assists in bringing
products to the market place, helping to ensure that products are handled safely, evaluating and managing the health and environmental risks associated with marketed products and raw materials and providing the associated hazard communication advise and documentation (Safety Data Sheets).

The Product Safety Communication Regulatory Specialist will monitor hazard communication legislation globally and maintain an awareness and understanding of global HSSE regulations and chemical control legislation
