Role synopsis The primary purpose of the Trade Completion Power Analyst role will be to process settlements for the East ISOs activities, shadow the settlements and compare to actual statements. The analyst will research discrepancies and file disputes as necessary, analyze cost associated with the ISO to support asset management and load deals, perform accounting duties such as month end close and prior period adjustments close, prepare regulatory filings, and perform wholesale bilateral settlements.
Key accountabilities The role will consist of the following primary areas of responsibility:
- Download ISO charges and trade activity from websites
- Run shadow settlements
- File disputes
- Analyze cost and communicate to Front Office and other Power Team members as needed
- Initiates vendor invoice payments
- Monitor multiple control report data and analyze and resolve discrepancies
- Forecast incoming and outgoing cash
- Perform accounting close and prior period adjustments close
