BUSINESS OVERVIEW
The Corporate Actions and Proxy Dept encompass monitoring of the U.S., Canada and seven Latin American countries for information considered necessary for our client base. The process spans from identification through processing to completion all aspects of the Corporate Action or Proxy Event. This process is managed through many complex systems and processes. It is a high-pressure environment as you are the face to the client and subject to numerous deadlines and quality measures. The unit announces approximately 2,300 events a week and is involved in approximately $36 billion in value each week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor, track, input and reconcile client investigations received daily

Acknowledge all investigations received within 4 hours of receipt.
*
Review and respond to client inquiries as needed.respond to client inquiries related to Corporate Actions and Income Collections processing.
*
Review client trends.
*
Liase with Depositories, Agents, Trustees and Issuers when necessary to obtain information.
*
Interaction with CSO's and clients on Corporate Action items and Income related items.
