Responsible for executing MSR trading and hedging strategies. Work to ensure that hedge positions and models are produced in an accurate and timely manner. Will work collaboratively with MSR strategy and pricing teams as well as Risk, CMI back office, ICG, and CMI Capital Markets, to improve efforts. Will perform analytics to improve hedge effectiveness and reduce hedge expenses. Specific responsibilities include the following.
Represent CMI in rate markets and manage execution for MSR portfolio
Supervise junior traders and analysts
Supervise production of daily risk and transaction reporting
Host daily calls to update teams on markets, risk and trading agenda
MSR strategy development
Develop synergies with other aspects of Capital Markets Group trading activities including pipeline and loan disposition group
Perform a variety of market driven analytical projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or similar field required. Advanced degree preferred.
Five years experience trading interest rate options and swaps experience required.
Strong technical and analytical skills required.
Fixed Income modeling experience preferred.
