Candidate will work with a team of senior level software developers to design, develop, implement, maintain and update specialized financial trading software infrastructure used by several applications globally.  The candidate should be able to interact with application teams to solve potential problems in a timely and efficient manner within a competitive environment. The candidate should be well organized, self driven team oriented and have a keen interest in component development using bleeding edge technologies.

Qualifications

·        Strong server side Java developer with 5-8 years of experience in developing trading infrastructure

·        Excellent knowledge of server side components (Transactions, Messaging, Caching, Persistence) and related specifications.

·        5 years of Equities front office technology development experience in one or more areas of Trading / Connectivity

·        Experience in working with FIX engines and Market data products

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Understanding of Linux internals and knowledge of C/C++ is desirable
