MI Document Retrieval Requirements 1. Set-up and prepare new account files. Maintain files and reports, including filing, copying and updating customer information.
Determine which reports, documents, or application should be included in file.
2. Review and verify documents for completion, accuracy and validity of information.
Determine which items are incomplete and whom to contact for additional information.
3. File and coordinate final settlement and collection of all mortgage insurance claim proceeds for all cases that were foreclosed, third party sales, deed-in-lieu, and short payoffs.
Determine when to file claims with mortgage insurance company as well as the type of claim (regular or deep coverage).
4. Accurately monitor, track and implement all aspects of the foreclosure process. Prepare and file FHA, VA, mortgage insurance and supplemental claims and assignments.
5. Assist customers with questions regarding delinquent payments, penalties, and disbursements.
Determine how to address the customers questions by researching discrepancies or direct the customer to appropriate party.
