Description:
Responsible for supervising and directing nursing care in the operating room, perioperative, and postoperative departments of the facility according to its policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. Coordinates and directs patient care and related activities of the facility according to accepted standards. Shares responsibility for the fiscal activities of the clinical services. Oversees patient scheduling in operating rooms. Analyzes and evaluates nursing care to improve quality of care given. Works closely with administrative and medical staff in coordinating patient-care service functions. May assume responsibilities for administrator in his or her absence.
Qualifications:
