Cal Poly International Education and Programs is seeking to hire a Senior Advisor for International Students and Scholars (Student Services Professional III) who is responsible for coordinating all international student and scholar services. Senior Advisor duties include counseling concerning visa and immigration regulations, offering orientations and cross-cultural adaptation programs, assisting in administering exchange programs, and serving as the University Designated School Official and Responsible Officer. Experience is essential in interpreting, applying, and enforcing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and State Department policies. This position is responsible for SEVIS compliance and supervises the SEVIS Data Specialist. The Senior Advisor must understand and have hands-on experience with documentation filing, agency reporting, program administration, immigration and naturalization requirements, and work authorizations.
