The position is located in Accounting Services and Payroll in the Division of Administration and Finance. The position is physically located in Writer's Square at 1512 Larimer Street, Suite 800, Denver, CO 80204. Accounting Services and Payroll is responsible for serving our faculty, staff, and students by maintaining a comprehensive payroll system which includes Payroll, Accounts Payable, and the Accounting Services Department.

This position provides technical support for the Payroll and Accounting Services departments by managing the classified staff payroll process while maintaining accurate records within federal, state, and local regulations and fiscal policies.

DUTIES: Processes the entire classified staff monthly payroll process including overtime calculations, vacation pay outs, salary increases, leave without pay, and garnishments; processes the miscellaneous monthly payroll process which includes Affiliate Faculty and various hourly employee classes; reconciles classified, semi-monthly, affiliate faculty, and miscellaneous monthly payrolls and notifies accounting department for finalization through finance; assists in creating and implementing policies and procedures...
