This position requires an individual with a minimum of 15 years of high performance computing (HPC) experience that includes a working closely with multiple independant software vendors (ISVs) to drive revenue in major industry segments via a solutions focus. A proven track record of successful product positioning, detailed market segment analysis, industry trend analysis, pricing, go to market planning and developing product collateral is of critical importance. This individual should have a strong industry experience in InfiniBand network solutions, software applications and cluster architectures.

The primary responsibility of the job is to expand the market opportunity for QLogic InfiniBand product line.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Develop go to market plans for major market segments and work in concert with the sales organization to implement them.

Define and drive new partnership programs with ISVs.

Create MARCOM materials that support driving InfiniBand business in major market segments.

Primary evangelist and champion for QLogic InfiniBand product line including training/presentations with customers and at major industry events.
