Customer Service Representative · Kansas City, MO
This position involves monitoring the international market of customer service satisfaction and timely shipments as well as communicating all updates within the parts sales department. Also will reduce freight costs and have a clear working knowledge of proper international documentation. Will work with Material Control, Purchasing, Planning, Customer Services, Warehouse, Repair and Remote Offices.
Qualifications Required/Education
High School Diploma
Experience
* Familiarization of preparing international and Canadian shipping documentation.
* Overall computer literacy; experience working with MS Windows and MS Office required.
* Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and database programs required (MS Word, Excel and Access preferred).
* Experience on AS400 a plus.
* Minimum of 2 years related experience.
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent customer relations/people skills.
* Spanish speaking a plus.
* Thorough research skills requiring the utilization of people, computer databases, and written documentation.
