Assist in the design and certification of new avionics systems installations in 14 CRF Part 23/25 aircraft. Generate wiring diagrams, wire routing schematics and other required type design data needed to support Garmin STC projects.   Assist in the development of documentation for new avionics system installations.  Coordinate with project leads, certification leads and installation technicians as needed to complete assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Assist in the design of avionics systems installations and wiring interconnects
* Generate wiring diagrams, wiring routing schematics, component installation drawings and other type design data required to support STC projects
* Assist installation technicians in troubleshooting installation wiring interconnects
* Assist in preparation and verification of new installation documentation
* Assist in generation of certification ground and bench tests plans
* Assist in creation of certification test reports and other compliance data for submissions to the FAA

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Accept and complete projects and other miscellaneous aircraft engineering duties as assigned
