Business Development Specialist · Overland, KS
Job Summary: This position responds to existing and potential customer inquiries identified by Director of Business Development. These include, but are not limited to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP) and capabilities presentations. Projects will require coordination of internal departments with appropriate responses, and proactively working with Field Account Executive and client while maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities
• Meets all customer defined deadlines with little or no supervision. • Responds to customer questionnaires relative to American Identity capabilities requiring coordination with the following departments: Finance, Merchandising, Creative Services, Special Order, Purchasing, Distribution and IT/Electronic Commerce, Customer Service, Program Management and Field Sales • Responds to customer directed “market basket pricing exercises” relative to American Identity’s competitive price proposals • Coordinates the sourcing of the items for the above mentioned market basket pricing exercises with the Business Development Sourcing Analyst and is responsible for providing all necessary customer and...
