The Sponsored Research Administrator II is a temporary position that will oversee and coordinate all Economic Stimulus Package initiatives by serving as the central point of contact for all related grant and supplement submissions. The successful candidate will be responsible for staying abreast of Economic Stimulus Package news and informing Faculty and Staff of grant opportunities, as well as updating and maintaining the Institute’s Sponsored Research Office’s webpage devoted to the Economic Stimulus Package. In addition, this position will provide guidance and assistance in the preparation of Economic Stimulus Package proposal budgets and forms, advice on pre- and post-award compliance requirements, including Human Subjects, Human Embryonic Stem Cells, Vertebrate Animals, Recombinant DNA and Biosafety requirements.
Required Skills
A Bachelor’s degree, and 3-5 years of experience in research administration is required; certification as a Research Administrator (CRA) is preferred.
